The Puerto de la Cruz Mueca International Street Art Festival celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. Mueca has become one of the most relevant events for the whole family in the Canary Islands. Theater, magic, music, dance, performance or circus meet in the streets of Puerto de la Cruz, reinforcing the bond between citizens and visitors through culture.
20 years is a long time when it comes to making a festival that stands out, both nationally and internationally, for its collaborative and shared management model between the city council and the Cómplices Mueca citizen platform. However, when it comes to filling the streets of a city with joy… twenty years is nothing!
