The International Street Art Festival of Puerto de la Cruz, MUECA, joins the Spanish Network of Theatres.

The Spanish Network of Theaters, Auditoriums, Circuits and Festivals of public ownership formalized, during its assembly on the morning of Thursday, December 17, the incorporation of the International Street Art Festival of Puerto de la Cruz, GRIN. With the adherence of the Tenerife scenic event, there are twelve Canarian scenic spaces associated with La Red.

More than fifty people in charge of scenic spaces from all over the country gathered at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport in Madrid in a meeting in which a good part of the positions of the entity have also been renewed.

Fourteen years endorse the trajectory of the Puerto de la Cruz International Street Art Festival, GRIN, whose programming takes place regularly during the second week of May in the town of Tenerife. Theater, music, dance, cinema, circus, magic or clown are some of the many artistic manifestations that, during four intense days, lead an innovative and refreshing program in which citizens, visitors and artists come together and are reborn in the framework of the scenic encounter . More than 6,700 spectators fill the streets of Puerto de la Cruz during the weekend of a festival that has seen more than 350 artists from international and national companies.

The publication of studies and informative materials, the development of training programs and legal advice to its members are, among others, some of the services provided by La Red. Thanks to it, thousands of professionals in the sector can participate in activities such as the Summer School, an event that annually brings together show technicians and managers in Almagro in an extensive program of courses taught by prestigious teachers.
Other activities promoted by La Red are Mercartes (the Performing Arts Market) or the Danza a Escena Circuit, an artistic program that was born in 2010 promoted by the INAEM with the aim of increasing the presence of dance and increasing the variety of styles. and choreographic trends in the programming of public theaters.
